SLK Dash sound

I Joined this club 2 days before Buying my SLK 230 this Sunday, a 2001 model in metalic red.

I just wondered if anyone else notices a creaking noise on the dash under the front windscreen, it was quite apparent on the journey home but seemed to settle down after about 15 minutes of driving.

It soon settles itself down and I'd love the car even if it didn't.

The noise mentioned was actually the seal on the roof rubbing and vibrating.
Problem has been completely solved thank to a product called Krytox - See my other posts if you need to know the details.

MB do a special silicone lube for this too. Common issue.
