SLK Interior light mod.

I'm well pleased! I swapped the interior light with one from a BMW 3 series which fits perfectly. I read somewhere that although the plug fits perfectly to get the map reading lights to operate u need to swap the + and - pins. There is also an extra pin on the BMW plug but not sure what it's for. Any ideas?

Hey NW Merc- you got any pics of your mods?

I'm in the process of taking the interior apart and installing some subtle mods like front and rear heated seats and 12V sockets where the ashtray used to be in the rear of the armrest. As soon as they are complete I will put them up.
