So, AMG owners, how’s your Fuel Consumption?

I only put £40 in and filled it up at home for £1,57.99 L total rip off but it was the 1st 1 i came to 👍

I'd be interested to see how that compares to actual mpg measured tank top to tank top.....that mpg just seems a bit TOO good compared to other owners mpg....does that mpg include warm up and getting to and from the main roads or do you reset the dash when you get there. My friend says he's NEVER seen over 30 no matter how he drives!

I'm still getting 38+ on my commute. Record 39.6 ....

Finally got out on some B roads on the way home .... why do people do 40 in a 60 and then 40 in a 30 ... grrrr 🤬
Does it often go into that coasting / gliding mode thing while in comfort mode ? If so, I reckon it can go that high in the right hands

I was driving like miss daisey and I doubt mine would ever get near 38mpg
Also its just been serviced so new plugs, filters etc 🙂

My last fill up at tesco was circa £50 at 1.52 per litre.

I used approx 7 gallons to do 270 miles (knocking off distance from petrol station to home) which equals around 38 mpg.

You'd have to put a pic up of that mpg 7 speed or 9 speed box doesn't really make a difference 🤔

That's impressive. Best long run I ever had was 30mpg on long day's drive, usually around 27 to 28.5 on similar long cruises even when trying to be good

No trip was possible without a fair amount of sports plus. The figures you're achieving with your c63 are off the charts 👏

It's just the type of driving I'm doing, a long commute sat at 70 is relatively efficient obviously. I'm also driving quite often at weekends or in the early hours. I used to get only a little bit less out of my 5.0 RCF.

I don't do city driving in it (well hardly any).

I like to know the power is there when I want, I just don't go round wearing a hole in the carpet with my right boot.

Blasting out of the average speed checks is great and I obviously slow down prior to bridges when it's quiet on the road 😁

I happened to be sat in an ML 63 AMG with Performance Package, so it’s the W166 ML/GLE with the M157 5.5 biturbo engine.

The trip computer hasn’t been reset in around 7 years and it’s achieved 17.4 MPG over the course of 63,702 miles at an average speed of 26 MPH.

I thought it was interesting given how many miles the average spans. For reference, the last journey was 21.0 MPG over 29 miles at of 32 MPH.

I expect a heavy ML with really wide tyres and high rolling resistance will perform quite badly vs a light 1.8 tonne E class for example. The average mph of only 26 is quite low though

Even not trying to be economical, I'm getting over 34 on my commute.

My maserati has finally been sold, so I can justify unleashing the turbos a bit more now.

Absolutely adore this car.
