Hello

Hope it's ok to post here. My C63 was stolen in Essex around midday, clocked by ANPR in Brentwood at 1.20pm. Essex Police and Met aware.

Thought I would post in case anyone spots it.

Dark silver grey, reg 705 SRA

Thank you

Unbelievable! Lot of car thefts in Essex at the moment. Two M3's on the M3 forum have gone missing too.

:(

Hi ya, Sorry to learn that some Toerag has taken your pride & joy, hope that you manage to get it back

Sorry to hear this. I know the feeling very well having grown up in Manchester in the 90's

Good luck mate. Hope you hear some positive news soon.

Ant.

Were you a car thief 'back in the day' then?

Hehehe. No. I meant I know how he feels. I had 3 cars and 1 van stollen around that time. It a horrible feeling.

Ant.

I had a car stolen on a Friday and nnever noticed nuntil Monday morning.

I love stollen, especially this time of year.

Hello

Thanks for the messages. They missed the actual main key that was in the kitchen but found my spare key I had hidden in a drawer.
A neighbour has CCTV footage of the theft, 4 white males...police now doing door to door and CID going to analyse footage.

Sorry to hear the bad news, hope it's found soon. Maybe time to think about an addition to the family, something large and canine shaped with incredibly long sharp 'n' pointy teeth with anger management issues.

Sorry to hear of this :(

Tracker?

Sorry to hear this, hope they find the people responsible and punish then accordingly. Also hope you get your car back in one piece.

Apologies for the 2 who think it's funny, hope you get it back all in one piece

Has there been any update on this?

I've personally counted over 100 brand spanking new clamps on cars since Friday (bulk purchase must of been made for this) which means ANPR's have been out in force in Northamptonshire and Coventry catching road tax dodgers

So if they can pick up parked cars on a drive around surely they are also scanning for other flags on the system? (Stolen/drugs offences/warrants linked to plates)

If this was directed at me Brian maybe you need to go back and read my posts again.

I DON'T think it's funny at all. Have had 4 vehicles stolen I know just how bad a feeling it is. The humor was in fact aimed at me from Lewboy because of my bad spelling.

I wish the OP all the luck in the world in getting his pride & joy back.

Ant.

Sorry to hear of this .

Theft of high performance cars , especially by a 'crew' is sometimes for use as a getaway vehicle from a crime ; otherwise they may be professional thieves who have targeted it either to export or to break for parts - doesn't sound like a 'joyrider' type theft ...

There's a possibility it may be parked up somewhere to see if a tracker is fitted before moving it on .

Either way , would you want it back ? Loss of your cherished registration mark may be the bigger issue since insurance will replace the car .
