Most grandmas I know but their stuff off Amazon.Ditto.
When Grandma drives two miles across Epsom Downs to buy Grandpa some new Tena boxers, and then gets charged the same as an Albanian driving all over Central London eight hours a day, delivering Tena Pads to one hundred Amazon customers, there's something seriously wrong with Sadie's Socialist system.

Can’t assume that the whole of Greater London is as wise as our network…Most grandmas I know but their stuff off Amazon.
What can I say?Cool... if I buy these boxers, I'll look like this guy?![]()
I can match him for the grey bits, but not much elseCool... if I buy these boxers, I'll look like this guy?
If so then Ms MJ will buy me the entire vanload of boxers from the Albanian chap...
Voting today SirJust saw a convoy of vans driving down Edgware Road sounding their horns and covered with "STOP KHAN" and "STOP ULEZ" signs.
Seems like an unproductive use of time, perhaps they could use that time to raise some funds to buy a ULEZ compliant van.Just saw a convoy of vans driving down Edgware Road sounding their horns and covered with "STOP KHAN" and "STOP ULEZ" signs.

Or perhaps they’re using their own time to help out the people who can’t afford to chop in their vehicles to buy newer ones.Seems like an unproductive use of time, perhaps they could use that time to raise some funds to buy a ULEZ compliant van.![]()
Exactly this.Citizen Khunt really should drive through his city at 4am once just to see the low paid type of people who get the city moving / stocked.
Which is why they have the option to pay the £12.50 fee rather than replace it until they can afford to do so?It's not so easy with a van.
You can easily buy a ULEZ petrol car for 500 quid.
But replacing a 500 quid non ULEZ van with a quite possibly less reliable euro 6 is going to cost at least 10 grand which a lot of small businesses just cannot afford what with all the other £hite going on.

and disadvantage peoples health?Or perhaps they’re using their own time to help out the people who can’t afford to chop in their vehicles to buy newer ones.
That’s of course unless you drive a black cab or you want to pay your way out.and disadvantage peoples health?Any improvement in air quality is a good thing - especially in heavily populated cities such as London.
So it’s NOT about clean air is it?Which is why they have the option to pay the £12.50 fee rather than replace it until they can afford to do so?![]()
The ‘pay your way out’ is a deterrent - if you drive into London once a month there would be no real use in changing vehicle as you wouldn’t be impacted by paying the £12.50 and your vehicle wouldn’t add a considerable burden in terms of negative air quality. That’s of course unless you drive a black cab or you want to pay your way out.
It’s all about the money. ££££££
