Swapping early W210 door mirrors for later type?

Does anyone know if you can fit the later type W210 (more rounded) door mirrors with indicators to an early W210 (1996)

My passenger side folding mirror blows the fuse when you try to fold them in and the mirror glass is discoloured too. I have the chance of purchasing a pair of folding and heated mirrors but they're off a later car and I'm not convinced they'll fit so thought I'd ask you guys.

They will fit, however the plugs maybe different and you may need to soiler the cabling onto your existing plug

The plugs are different but the mirrors themselves will bolt-on fine.

On my 202 I cut the 140/202/210 etc plug off the car and fitted facelift 210 plugs for an OEM-style fitment.

As fitting these mirrors to the early 210 is same as fitting them to a 202, if you do a search on the forum you should find quite a few threads regarding this.
