Nice to see the 'shed' on some real roads and returning a sensible mpg
The only reason I could not bring myself to get a CLS AMG is that I would have to stop twice as often for fuel.
The current 'slippery shed' has returned this figure for the whole my summer motoring. Not so many long journeys this year as I have been working closer to home and even had to go inside the M25 on occasions
Are the 211's not more slippery than the CLS's.
I noticed there is a lot more wind noise in a CLS compared to a 211 (driven two now).
MPG wise you are up on me, I average 38mpg but its hillier here than in England. Best I've got is 52mpg, IIRC you've seen 55mpg from the CLS.
