I just paid for level two and got the car sealed with gtech 1.5 (I believe) and my scratch done.

A Valet Stage 2 is £55 for a large car without any extras so taking out the interior clean and getting GTeq at £56 is a very good deal, especially with the Protection package in GTeq coming in at £435 !!!

I popped into KDS a couple of years ago to see what they could do for my vRS Octavia. I found them very stand offish and found I could do the same job they offered myself and save £350.00!! Walked away very disappointed.

If I am in a position to have a car professionally detailed, I'm going to Paul Dolton and his set up.

If I'm honest I went a few years ago and and can see where you were coming from. However, since them they have employed a Customer Service Manager and things are different. They communicate better and were very enthusiastic to help when I went in.

We should PIN a list of the countries best detailers using the members indications, may be with a rating scale. These boys do such a professional job which not all of us are blessed with the ability, how ever much we try. Like all craftsmen to a trade who take pride in their jobs The Devil is in the detail.

Actually no,

you suggested that "Gtechniq 1.5 SILO v2 is essentially a top up spray for the gtech crystal lacquer coatings" whereas it is a layerable quartz based sealant in its own right.

It is quite happy being used as a sealant without C1 applied first and works very well at this.
