hi ive ordered a new thermostat for my c220 w203 , any tips on fitment or are they straight forward thanks tony

dead easy 3 bolts i think front right of engine, you will lose a little water so topup with antifreez or distilled water .

I did this job on my 211 a few months ago.
Didn't spill a drop of coolant as I sucked out contents of reservoir first.
Would assume process and method is pretty much same for 203?

Done this job on my S203, a CL203 and a W211 - each time I undid the <red> drain plug at the bottom of the rad - this ensures no fluid loss.

CDI engine? You have 2nd thermostat for the little radiator located in the corner of the main radiator. Have that changed aswell, it is behind the horns. I changed mine a few weeks ago to my C200CDI and it can be done easily by yourself if you have pipe clamps.

Part number A 005 203 39 75

I did mine on a Clk 270 CDI today, its straightforward and pretty easy ( I didn't drain anything and only lost about a litre of coolant parked slightly uphill, and i caught most of that in a small jug) but make sure you have a E12 Torx SOCKET of 1/4" or 3/8" drive to undo the thermostat bolts. Think it could be done in 20 mins if I did it again! Easy.
