Today a car gets washed ;)

Mine will get the "Polish" (although I think our locals are now Serbian) treatment when spring gets here, until then the lights, windows and plates will be kept clean.

I hasten to add thats for the Lexus RX (winter traveller) not the ML....thats sitting on the drive shining nicely waiting for somebody to buy it.....please, anyone? :D

Great job. You save quite a bit of money by doing it all yourself too. About £1500 per session according to a fellow member-detailer!

Hmm, I can't really correct paint but I can give it a jolly good clean. I'm not sure what a detail without paint correction would cost(??)

Well paint correction or not, the car looks splendid. :thumb:
Using the bus next week are you? :D

Yes, that would be with paint correction and all.

I've taken a couple of lessons from a friendly local crash repair shop that did a few paint jobs for my projects over the last few years. So far I did 4 cars and about to do the CL in the next couple of weeks. Not a rocket science although I had to respray part of the bumper cover on wife's C-Class as I went through the paint

I find car cleaning therapeutic ..... I know I'm weird too lol

Absolutely it's therapeutic! A lovely sunny day, fresh air and a shiny car :)

No external cleaning today but took instrument pod out fixed dash dimmer switch and cleaned lens whilst it was out changed all interior lights for LEDs ...... Time was at a premium today only had car a couple of weeks so in between rain I'm correcting a panel at a time .... De badged boot lid and concentrated on that, came up really nice with a blue sky overhead it was difficult to see that the car was black !! It was like a mirror!

Not to r2 standard, (but it's a bigger beast) washed the caravan and car yesterday, today is the inside, and clear the bird poop that has already appeared...

A man after my own heart - I love to spend hours cleaning my car and the neighbours think I'm bonkers but I can certainly say I have the cleanest car in our close!

Top job - looking great!

Quantity not quality is this week-end's motto. Washed the car, motorbike, polytunnel and greenhouse so far. Also put the summer tyres back on as the risk of snow seems low.

LOL. I seem to have started a cleaning frenzy!

I've been thinking about that comment. I'd be surprised if it were as much as that but you right it must save me some money. What do members think my 6 1/2 hour clean has saved me??

Well its pouring here, does that count as a wash?
