..... The driver concerned could not get past as the bike rider was weaving to stop him, he then forced his way past and in doing so clipped the bike rider which started the incident.

That'll be Mr & Mrs Perfect, Howard.

I have exerciiiiiised the deeemon.

This house...... is c-lear.

I think more will come out in the wash on this one - only time will tell.

I'm a biker myself, but if that was my RR with my wife and kid in it, then there'd be a whole path of flattened bikers behind me.

Biker pack mentality isn't particularly clever or predisposed to rational thought.

Range Rovers (albeit a Sport in this case) were originally designed to be able to run over the great unwashed, so I suppose the driver was only doing what came natural.

How many kittens have you run over so far in your Q7?

I tend to agree. The absence of footage prior to the incident means that (almost) everything written in this thread is speculation, however I will add a little of my personal experience regarding riding in a group of motorcycles.

Over the years I've lost count of the times that, when riding as part of group of bikes (which often includes a few riders who are either serving or retired Police Class 1 motorcycle licence holders, so there's no "hooning" involved) some richard head in a car, for no good reason, forces their way into the group. Invariably this will involve stealing someone else's road space and then driving excessively close to the rear of another motorcycle and thus putting the lives of a number of riders at unnecessary risk. It is this sort of behaviour that encourages (rightly or wrongly) motorcyclists riding in groups to be very protective of the roadspace around them.

Talk to Police motorcyclists and they will tell you that when they ride as a group they protect space around them by moving in formation so as to present to other road users what is effectively a single, very large, vehicle. They will also tell you that there will always be some a**hole in a car who, despite this, will try to force their way between them. If it happens to them, when on liveried bikes and in uniform, you really must question what's going on in the mind of some car drivers.

After the RR stopped, during this 25 secs, some bikers might have pulled a gun out!!??

I would have done the same as the RR driver, regardless of whether my family was in the car or not!!

Having watched the video it seems as thought the initial footage is where the bikers first meet up with the RR as they gradually close up on it, at which point one of them speaks to the driver (possibly irate that he was in the centre lane).
He then pulls in front of the RR and slows down deliberately using the front brake, with his left hand on his hip. (you can see the red brake lamp illuminate).

The RR driver obviously feels very threatened and escapes in fine style.

The "Wolves" then go after him to seek revenge.

He should have used the central concrete barrier to swipe a few on then accepted that you need to sacrifice a bit of bumper paint for the rest of the vermin.

Ex- biker myself, but one must wondered why there is no footage prior to the incident??
May be it would discriminate against the bikers?

From the above link:

"Police said Lien initially stopped after the accident, but several angry bikers began to bash his car with their helmets and slash his tires before he fled."

What goes around...

Video posted by the same guy who uploaded the RR video

EDIT: This wasnt the same day, but was the same riders

FF to 1:10 to see them attack a Prius driver (punch) followed by 2:00 them riding along the pavement.

And the RR driver only knocked one of them down....what a missed opportunity.

With the crucial "prequel" missing from the video it just looks like an average day out in Doncaster, with a RR driver trying to see how many bikes he can jump over.

It got me thinking here, the RR driver did ran over other innocent bikers, yet he seemed to have got away with it.

If similar incident happened here in this country, i would wager the driver would also get the book thrown at him too!

Innocent bikers do not stop a car and surround it on a motorway.

These guys on the bikes are not "Bikers" they are chavvy little turds with motorcycles, who while messing about on the motorway on high power motorcycles (while in T-Shirts on hi-power bikes) managed to involve a guy with his wife and kid in a 2.5 tonne SUV, something bad was always going to happen...

The guy runs an e-commerce firm quite unlikely to be taking on angry 50+ chavs for fun
