Hi Guys; Another mission re our two track days; I need all the people attending our two days at Goodwood, 29th April and 13th August, to print off or fully read the 3 no. attachments here,
"Goodwood, H&S guidelines", "Goodwood driving rules" and "Goodwood general site information" I need everyone without fail, to acknowledge to me that they have read and understand the contents of said documents, and agree to abide by them, you on the day will be sighning forms, including disclaimer forms, which will allow you to participate in the day, this includes stating you have read and agree to abide by such documents, and the information therein.
There are a few guys who were in attendance at the Bluewater meet, who have been handed hard paper copies of these documents, I also need them to acknowledge that they have read and understand them.

Many thanks guys Rick

Read and understood, thanks Ricky.

Seems a bit harsh that we have to ask permission to take 'photos. I assume that this is a formality in practice?:dk:

Anyway, if someone doesn't have a helmet, I have a couple of spare ones that I can bring - just let me know.:thumb:

Read and understood here also by me & Kristian!

Read and understood, many thanks.

Read and understood, thanks Ricky.

I'll get Benjy to sort some £ out for you and I'll sort trevithick's out too!

Hoping I may still be able to muster a couple more suitable candidates that wouldn't rather be watching the royal splicing!!

Hi Rick
to confirm i have read, understood and will abide by the rules and guidelines
many thanks for organising this:thumb:

Helmets , can you hire them ?

I'll bring a couple. Am happy to share as long as those in need aren't on track at the same time as me, and don't have a sweaty head!

Goodwood Motor Circuit - Drivers Rules 2010.doc said:
Overtaking on either left or right is permitted – unless, at the Drivers’ Briefing, the organiser specifies overtaking on one side only due to the drivers’ level of experience.

If everyone is happy that overtaking is on either side then fine. Not that it's up to me but overtaking on the left only, works well at BookATrack days. Not wishing to stir things up and certainly not making pre-judgements on anyone's level of experience :) . Just that it's one less thing to worry about - you only need to look in one mirror rather than two, to see how many people are behind you to come past, and to make sure you're not going to pull back onto the racing line and cut someone up who may think you're letting them past.

Yes, we'll have minimal cars on track at once. But just a thought.

Cheers, Jon.

Jon, good point but think you will find in this case, overtaking will be permitted on the Left only and by invitation, ie; guy in front blantantly moves over to right or, or either indiacates and moves over, and all this in only specified areas of the circuit, never in braking zones or corners. This due to our mostly trackday inexperienced attendants, including myself. Still a very fast circuit thou!

Read and understood. Many thanks again Ricky for going through all the hassle to get this event setup, i'm sure it'll be a good one!!
