In the last couple of weeks, web pages seem to have lots of words underlined.
As the cursor goes over the underlined word an advert box opens.
Even a post I made here myself:
http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/ot-off-topic-forums/147262-roof-remedial-work.html (post #4) has the word "access" underlined and an advert box pops up "answer this (1) question and claim an iPad2 now"
Its damned irritating to be trying to read a page, using the mouse cursor, like you would follow text say with your finger on a printed page, to have adverts keep popping up obscuring what you are trying to read.

Even the head of this section
"PC and I.T support/Advice posts Computer advice here"
has the word Computer underlined and the same "claim an iPad2" advert pops up

Am I infected with something?

edit:- just posted the above and the words "web pages" are underlined and the same advert pops up.

Go down to bottom left hand corner of the page and you'll see a drop down box. Click on t and select mbclub-old or similar. Yours probably says mbclub-new

All gone.

I'm not seeing any of that , even following the link . My page has mbclub - new at the bottom .

Could it be something that depends on which OS/browser you are using ?

I'm on a Mac , running OS 10.5.8 and Safari 5.0.6 , which seems to be immune .

I'm using XP and firefox.
At the bottom of the page I'm on mbClub new
I've also got an ABP icon in the bottom corner of the screen which appears to be enabled, both here & other sites.
It's not just here I have the problem, but other sites also.
I'll try the "mbClub old" option

Nope, tried that but ads still active!
