Saw a few unusual cars today.

These two, Ferrari and what looked like a Range Rover at first glance were at my local McDonalds!

The Range Rover turned out to be a "Hawk" Ever heard of it?

Nice plate too! The young blonde woman was also quite nice... :)

Funnily enough, the Ferrari was driven by a girl also!

Yesterday, in Harrow I spotted this Italian Lancia Delta! I wondered when I saw it if it would have sold well in the UK after all...

The Range Rover looks dreadful, I've always struggled witht the concept of the Range Rover Spurt, and all other 'sports' off-roaders to be honest, I just don't see the point:dk:

As this Hawke was only a few miles from Hawke's place in Luton, I wonder if the young girl driving it was connected to the company?

I'm not to keen on the Spurt either! :bannana::D

Probably popped out to get everyone McDonalds ? ;)

Well, it's based on the Fiat Bravo platform, so probably similar! Actually a nice car to be honest and as a former Lancia fan (Delta Inegrale that I blew the turbo on one hooligan drive!) I was hoping it would be imported.

Iv'e seen that Hawk driving round the M25 on my way home from work in the evenings.

I also saw an Overfinch Range Rover the other day. That thing looked liek an absolute beast.

Saw a very unusual car today, sorry no picture. Looked like the fuselage of a small aircraft, two front wheels but only one at the back. Soft top, 2 seater and 'snailspeed' written on the side with a chrome snail on the bonnet.
Looked up the registration and it comes up as 'Citroen 2CV6 Special' but looked nothing like one.:dk:

A pal of mine still has an integrale down in Somerset, what a fun machine!:D

Yeah!! I loved mine! So responsive and scary fast!! Sadly I blew it and at the time, it was too expensive to repair. Wish I had though, 'cos I'd love driving it now!! :)

Another really fun car I had was a Citroen ZX 16V. A lot more exciting than you'd think, but that also became too expensive to repair and had to go.

Could have been one of these.
Many are based on 2CV running gear...........

Agreed. A case of "I've bought a tractor - but I really want it to go/handle like a racing car". Duh!!!

That Lancia front end reminds me of that Maybach concept coupe from a couple of years ago.

Personally I hate them! If I really needed an off-road car I'd go for a Volvo XC90 or VW Touareg in standard, non-bling versions! :D

There was talk of Alfa dealers having some Lancias in the showrooms but the idea of binned earlier this year, it may still happen but certainly not this year.

that range rover sport is awful, i'd buy a Disco4 over a sport anyday, and if it's modified range rovers you're after, there really is only 1 to buy: Holland & Holland Overfinch

I love the Gun cabinets and Champage holders:eek:
I'd use those at least 3 times a day......NOT!

My car did come with a bottle of Champage in the boot, but it is the only time it has ever carried such a thing and I wouldn't know which end of a gun to hold:doh:
Stuff you never knew you didn't need!

And that Lancia!! If you know the joke about the wide-mouth frog and I said "You don't see many of those about"...does it ring any bells?
