Has anyone used the new and improved autotrader site?

I've been using it today and its quite good especially the engine size option which stops C180's appearing everytime you want to search for an AMG.

Although it can be a pain when sellers put their cars in the wrong categories.

you'll find a lot of c180s badged as AMGs. Or "AMG Brabus Limited edition"

Yup. I like it.

Lets me search for C180s without those pesky AMG / Brabus appearing.

it is good. it sems a bit slower though.
it should let you put in all your parameters before activating a search and not searching after each line

I have found it is much slower and will often hang or completely crash...hope its just teething problems.

One thing I do wish, is that they would do something about the quality of photos....if I upload to e-bay I have perfect photos, whereas all photos, not just mine, always look grainy.

I must admit, I don't like it - though it was the beta version I tried, I'll have another look in a minute. I found it harder to change between cars and I don't know why you'd want to know how many of a certain model are available. It seems slower to me. Also, it wouldn't let you look for Honda Accord coupes younger than 1997, though there are some - it just didn't recognise it as a model.

I thought it was a case of an improvement which actually made it a bit worse. Maybe I'll get used to it.

edit: they've corrected the coupe listing. At least they are on the ball at correcting errors.

It doesn't work for me

You search for a car, and it shows the first page, and then after about 2 seconds, it decides to compare all the cars I selected, but I didn't select any, so I get a blank page, saying "compare 0 of 5 cars"

Why can't I use the old search until they get their beta to work?

PJ

Oh; and how many 'hatchback' Mercedes SL's have you ever seen?!
