Very early (1987) 124 Wagon question.

Can anybody please tell me how my sills are fixed to the car? This is a 1987 Wagon-pre Saco Panels.

From what I see I have tin sills with holes for the jack tubes. I then have weather plugs on each jack tube (not clipped into the sills)

Are the sills welded on?
Are they expensive?

They're welded and not that expensive. All the way from Poland

Mine don't need replacing. Just me being really, really ****. I have some minor blemishes being re-done where they meet the jack tubes (no surprises there). It just got me curious how they were attached.

I know someone on ebay from Worcestershire that will order them for you .She orders in a block .Like every first Wendesday of the month. Not expensive.
