W108 body panels

Hello everyone,
Ive just bought a w108,ive always fancied one. I would be interested to know the situation on bodywork repair panels before i commit to having it repaired.Does anyone know whats available and where from.
The car needs work around the rears of the sills and rear arches.
I know MB can still get a lot of parts for 108`s but they are quite expensive so i wandered if anyone knew of aftermarket repair panels(mainly inner and outer rear arches).

My brother has one (see my sig), virtually every panel was covered in rust.

After calling around for months, Mercman in Southhampton had a mint one come in with the front side smashed in.

We purchased virtually every panel from them. - wasnt cheap though!

Have a good look through the classic car mags to see if there area any decent restorers in your area.

If not, most good bodyshops should be able to help you.

Try a search on Hadrian panels. I think they make wheelarch repair panels and sills. Can't vouch for the quality but apparently they make very good Morris Minor panels.
