W124 HAMMER style Colour Coded Wheels?

Im toying with the idea of colour coding my alloys, this would mean splitting them down and having the lips polished again at the same time, a quick mess around on photoshop give you the before and after.

2. After (the windows tinted too)

I expect there will be mixed opinions, and Im not sure myself so here goes........

I like that. Why not do what Howard did and just spray the centres yourself.

I find it amazing that painting the wheels also tints the glass as well..very cool..

I dont think you can do one without the other.

Ive got the later AMG rear bumper and will be having that painted, Ill get the bodyshop to do these at the same time.

I like the look as is a) because the multipiece wheels look special as they are (the black actually detracts from the studs) and b) the windows tie in the f/r/s light lenses.

Leave the AMG wheels as they are, they must be about the best looking wheels you can get, why spoil them ?

Think I must have missed something here, is the car no longer for sale ?
Would stay with the polished finish myself, highlights the fantastic paintwork.
That said either would look good........its just a STUNNING car !

Maybe it's just the Photoshop look but I voted keep them as the are. It just seems to look a little weird coded.

Having said that, KLP's coded ones look much better. Is it something to do with the sizes maybe?
