Hi

I adjusted my parking brake at the drums, but also need to adjust the centre bolt now.

does anyone know what size spanner it takes, as i need to do this away from home so need to take the spanner with me :o

I think it's 12 or 13mm from memory

thanks. Also, i assume this will be located where the two thick cables that come from the wheels join in the centre of the car? i crawled and reached under there last night in the dark and could feel something around by the centre box on the drivers side? i am armed with my jack and axle stands so will jack it up and take a look.

Hi. thanks.

13mm was the correct size.

I did end up using a small spanner, as the socket & bar i had with me was too long and wouldnt turn enough with the driveshaft in the way. the spanner did a bit though. Socket would of been easier if it was the very small type.

footbrake a lot better now. This is all because the MOT is tommorow
