Hopefully a real quickie :D
I spent some 'therapy' time out with the 202 today (mainly wielding an angle grinder and cutting disc!). Having removed one loom, im now left with the main loom in the cabin, I havent removed this with the grinder for those that may be thinking that!!
Im going to attempt to sell the front / rear electric windows and associated switches and wiring as one job lot, but am having a devilish time trying to seperate them out.
So, the reason for this post, these do seperate out dont they??

I have some instructions that claim the looms are separate on the old pre-facelift cars. The looms are one piece in the later pre-facelift and facelift cars. This is why I can still add power windows to the rear of my car without changing major components.

I can quite easily now say, this is THE worse job in the world....Ive managed to split most of it out, but the last few wires are 100% interconnected (well they were....out came the wire cutters)
Weird as Ive seen a pick on German Ebay which shows lovely small looms.
God knows how many hours Ive had trying to get this out in one go (and then sell) but it looks like Ive failed :(

Its better to have tried and failed than to have never tried at all (I think that it is the right way round) ;);)

Indeed :D
I hate electrics at the best of times and it had turned into a little vipers nest ready to strike at any minute. Then we had the fun of my 2 boys holding various parts of the loom as high as they could, so that I could chase bits through!
In all seriousness, the 'main' window loom is there, the loom to the control unit is there, its just needs splicing back into the main loom (if I sell as a kit)
I need to chill out before even thinking of putting it all together for photos though!
On the upside, I now have a fair bit of wiring for my dragster (which needs wiring from scratch....argh!!!)

a have a c200 1998 diesel classic is the wireing in doors to make back windows electric does anyone know
