W202 Leak Front Passenger Footwell

Help!

My C43 has sprung a leak. When I set off after the car has been sitting in the rain I can see water trickling down the left hand kick plate from where the dash meets the bodywork.

Any ideas where it's getting in?

Scuttle air intake.? Check the drains.

The drains on the left will be blocked. use some welding wire or remove the arch liner and scuttle panel and have a poke around.

Thanks - sound this is the cause

Short term "fix" has been to park the car nose up 10% gradient on drive - no futher water ingres past few days

Took it to HRE - they reckon they've fixed it now - yes it was the drain in the air collector.
