Hi guys i was wondering if any one can help! after i installed a aftermarket system in my car i am not getting a good FM signal at all as the original becker system has 2 inputs for antenna one is i think Diversity but does anyone know where the antenna lead actually connects to as recently i removed my left front pillar cover and i noticed a black wire very simualr to the antenna wire dangling down and now i am totally lost as to where this acutally connects or if this even has anything to do with the antenna lead Many thanks in advance

The car does actually have a diversity system but what you will find is that it has a split AM / FM antenna also. The two cables are two signals.

The only thing I can think of is to combine the signals at the rear left C-pillar or combine it at the head unit.

Sounds like a slightly average design radio.
