Hi all,i have just had this problem solved by my local indie . The rear suspension coil springs were bearing directly on to the rear sub-frame(metal to metal) hence the creaking. merc provided aluminium shims at a cost of £3 each and once fitted,have solved the problem,why was this not a recall from stutgart?
