Can anyone point me in the right direction please? I need to know the location of the drain in the heater air intake box as i suspect that water is building up there as the windows are steaming up when the car is left and I can find no sign of dampness anywhere inside the car ::confused: Cheers

When does it mist up? Is it only on first starting up when it's been left overnight in the rain? And do you park the car even slightly nose down? If so, they all do it and it's not a blocked heater drain. If you park on level ground or nose up then it'll not mist up.

Yes it does mist up when parked up, unfortunately my drive has a slope down toward the house so car is left nose down. Seems to be much worse after I have hosed the car down or theres been heavy rain, its not something I have experienced previously except when running old cars that leak.

Join the club! There's a long thread about this on the Interior forum under
"CLS misting up"

Can you not reverse onto the drive?

I must admit that when my W204 does mist up it's a pain in the a*se, but it doesn't do it except in very particular circumstances and even then it will clear within about 2 mins of startup.
