Some "inside" information regarding rare OEM factory exotic options that most of us think that they are not available for our w204 c-class
I also provide option codes and part numbers.

You don't want to tell where this inside info comes from? The Distronic radar part number is interesting in the sense that it is a 204 part but EPC (at the moment) does not assign it to other cars than 164 and 215. What would be needed in addition to the radar to make this work (usually the grill is different but I mean wiring etc.)?

You just revealed you are working at the MB organisation(?). For me there is no subgroup 755 for W204 yet (obviously one of those examples that were discussed recently).

2005-2008 W203 cluster is often stated as not being compatible with Distronic. Well ... it is. The 2005 woodgrain with the DTR control switch looks nicer than the older version too.

Below is the facelift sports edition W203 cluster.

The sensor support, brackets and new steering oil cooler have been installed.

Does 860 no longer exists as a code. It is meant to be 863 (digital tv). You also left out the amplifiers.

I have all the parts I need, I have digital TV and I have a COMAND which goes into the REVERSE CAMERA mode which I shift into reverse. My TV tuner is coded for reversing camera as is my head unit. Thus I lose the use of AV1.

What I dont have is the time to drill my lid to fit the camera. But yes, it works in bench mode (loose wires and bits attached loosely).

Has been done several times already by Richard and MBENZNL. Easier and cheaper than doing it to a C-Class.

Before or after I decided that I wanted a CLK front end to go with it ?

If anyone has crashed the front and back of their C-Class I have here ample parts to fix both ends.
