How about an AMG GT?
I’m going to be ‘That Guy’ and say I don’t actually like the GT. I’ve never really liked the shape, which is weird, because I do like the long bonnet wide hip look - would give my eye teeth for an SLS. But just not the GT, perhaps if I drove one my opinion might change. Don’t know, it’s a dilemma for 2024 though….

There are worse dilemmas that’s for sure.

I love the SLS too, and the SLS has a charm which the GT can’t quite match, whether that be cachet, drama or just looking and feeling like it came from a different generation.

In practice, despite sharing many things, the GT is definitely the better car for real world driving - even if the SLS is a nose ahead for experience - so it depends on the buyers priorities.

Both the GT and SLS remind me of what a properly developed and more modern TVR might have become. A strange blend of brawny muscle car and surprisingly sharp super sports car.

Fantastic, looks superb!

Just collected my car from Finer Details after a 2 day full paint correction, two stage polish and ceramic coating plus all four wheels diamond cut and refurbed. Thought I'd post a few pics. I had been debating changing this car but cannot find anything to match what it provides, at any price point, so decided instead to invest a few quid turning it into a "new" car and buy a weekend project car as well.

Finish looks amazing, could I ask what sort of cost this is? No worries if you'd rather not say

That looks very nice indeed!

£700.
I did my research and in the North West, where I am, Iain at Finer Details is pretty much universally acknowledged as the man.
I’ve cleaned the car once since the work was done (following his cleaning guide to the letter) and I can honestly say I’m staggered at the results. The finish is like glass. Several people at supermarkets, service stations, car parks have commented on it.
Best money I’ve spent on a car.

I've just had my car wet sanded and coated. It's looks incredible, like a mirror no peel just flat and like a mirror. Its some sight when you see it.

It had crystal serum Ultra and had to cure for two weeks, and now its got dust on it, so need to do a wash, my car has not seen water, but can I ask what you have been recommended?

He sent me a detailed washing guide - but it’s common sense really.
Power wash rinse on a low pressure setting
PH neutral snow foam with a long soak
Rinse
Foam again
Two quality mitts, two buckets
Work from the top down
Two microfibre ultra thick absorbent towels
Crystal nanoseal spray to top up the ceramic every now and again.
I didn’t have to wait 2 weeks - was just told to leave it for 24 hours.
Post some pics of yours - would love to see it.

I think its 24hrs to keep dry and clean, but a ceramic coat should be given longer to properly cure.

Couple of Pics of mine done, I will probably put a more "detailed" post up in the detailed section!

LOL yeah righto once again! I could get a full vehicle wrap for less!
This was £1500
I probably miss understood the cure time's ie you can't use the car for 2 weeks to let it cure ,as for a full wrap for £1800 no thanks
I have Titan tx 155 on mine

2 weeks?....someone's having you on. In general, most ceramic coatings will reach 90% of their cure in just 72 hours! The company we use says 3 days absolute tops even if the humidity is high.

That's fine, that's what was recommended for you, I was told if I was not using it, to leave it in the garage uncovered for 2 weeks for the maximum cure time for GCSU and best results. It has been put away for the winter so its not being used!
