w208 230k exhaust manifold

Hi All,
My exhaust manifold is leaking and needs welding up. I need to remove it and at 1st glance it looks like I need to remove the super charger, although I've read it can be removed without touching the super charger. Does anybody have a removal procedure (that hopefully doesn't invole my SC?

You have to remove the SC to do it. It is not tricky at all.

I just took my time and removed everything with hand tools - universal joint socket set is required IMO.

Have a look under the car, as you may/will need downpipe bolts and possibly support bracket bolts as mine were past their best.

Everything was cheap and in stock at main dealer.

The manifold is completely different on mine. It's a lot shorter. What I really need to know is which part of the SC needs to come off and how to do it.

It's the top half IIRC. Just start by taking the air box off then it's all pretty obvious.
