W208 CLK55 AMG CAbriolet,03REG!?

Has peter seen this car,

He's looking for a V8 convertible and would maybe do a deal on his CLK55...

This car was at BCA Blackbushe last week and was also listed as a 430.

Sorry njust curious to how u know the price and when he bought it?

If i was at the auction i would have definatly bought it for that price!!!

Beautiful Car

If u really like u should buy it no more than 13500 i personally think, Depends how much u want it though.

C240Sport97, go for it! In the end of the day it must be the rarest amg drop top bar none in RHD format.

The likelyhood of finding another in the forseable future is remote , but with that mileage, colour, its a one off.

He may even budge from the asking price, credit crunch & all that!

PS: Future classic status is assured with this one.

I think a E36 cabrio pips it to the rarest and perhaps also SL60

What were the production figures for the E36 cabrio and SL60?

The RHD W208 CLK 55 Cabrio was just 39. I know of at least one which was written off totally so theres a max of 38 left.

I too would definately have had it at auction for £10,700 or even up to £14,000. I just couldnt stomach giving a dealer anything more than a couple of grand profit for giving the car a decent valet and making up an advert!

Those white/cream seat covers would be on ebay PDQ:thumb:

i'm still not convinced its a retrim but either way, i love it in its current trim colour! i'd happily pay about £13-14k tops if its as good as it looks but still a long way off his wants!

btw there is another w208 55 convertible on autotrader at the mo. more miles and not so special but far cheaper!

Auto Trader UK - MERCEDES-BENZ CLK CLK55 2dr Tip Auto Amg Cabriolet

No way is that a genuine CLK 55 Cabrio.

No bodykit, no AMG wheels, no AMG clocks.

I suspect its not even a 430 as these all had memory seats as standard.

At best its a 320 avantgarde cabriolet.

50 SL60s imported in UK but only 14 E36 cabrios
I expected W208 CLK 55 Cabrios to be rare but i thought it would have been in three figures

Yes I was at the auction, I am atleast three time a week... All previous sale prices are listed on BCA Auction View for a month after the sale.
