My car has just passed it's MOT :bannana: the tester must have missed all the rusty holes in the sills :p, however he did advise that the rear flexible brake hoses are starting to wear. No problem, I can get the parts and fit them myself, so the question is, is there anything that i need to bear in mind when bleeding the brakes? my 210 has the BAS, ESP etc, or can I bleed them like a regular car?

thankyou...

Get the hoses from Euro Car Parts as they are the same as MB. Dont call them pipes, call them hoses. Pipes are metal hoses are rubber.

mine failed because of that flexi hoses.
cost £34 from MB.Then it was passed.
Normal way.

i know considering the local moparts wanted £40

If you are keeping the car, you are far better off fitting the Goodridge stainless steel braided brake lines.

They cost about £10 more than the merc ones and are for superior in the way of their life and performance.

My local german and french car part stockist only wants £7 plus vat each for the flexi hoses, considering the prices you guys quote, the ones offered to me must be made of recycled newspaper

They are not worth much more anyway, are they
