75% of the time my boot wont open from the outside, it is fine from the inside.
ive had the interior trim off, and it seems that when i press the button thing, the first 60% of travel does nothing and then the final 40% cant move the rod far enough to open lock.
im guessing a small bit of plastic has come loose, as in the bootlid, the black plastic bit that operates in conjunction with the centeal locking seems to be the culprit here.
has anyone had this problem before and whats the solution?
ive rigged up a wire to the interior knob to the back seat so i can open it without clambering over the seats.
