W210 facelift creaking tailgate

The driver's side hinge is creaking horribly - can someone please point me to where I need to lubricate it and what is the best product to use.

Apologies for the seemingly daft question but I am more than capable of producing a messy puddle of oil all over the boot area...

I always find PTFE white spray grease is the best for hinges etc, it doesn't run everywhere. I used it when I lubricated the single wiper mechanism on my 210 and 124.
