Hi guys i am new in the mbclub. i have 722.6 autom. gearbox on e280cdi 3222cc 2005year. i check today after driving 30min on 150km/h and then i put on P and i leave engine on then i put dipstick to the end and the level on thе dipstick was on the lower measure of 80ºC not in the half of the scale. I change the oil and filter and conductor plate but noone check the oil level. The reason why i check the level is becouse i have hard shifts. pleace advice do i have to refill the oil and how much. thanks

Who changed the oil and plate? If someone else, take it back to them and get them to check the level.

What was the original problem with the car?

How did you measure the temp of the aft?

The mbworkshop where i change the plate is 2000km from the place where i live now. The problem is when it is cold the trans will jerk and shift real hard, and when the car its staying in D in comfort mode and when i push the gas to the end the trans jerk and start, but in sport mode its not happening same.I bought from ebay 722.6 dipstick, i took the car today and i was driving 30min before i check the atf the car temperature was at (80ºC) in the dashboard and i leave engine on then i check 5 times . and the atf level was at the lower scale at (80ºC) but i think the normal is on the upper scale at (80ºC).?
sory for my english.

i found this link http://www.dipstick.eu/download/en/...edes 722.6 722.7 722.8 professional tools.pdf

The oil level should be at the upper 80 degree mark when hot. Your gearbox is low on oil.
