In mornings if i drive really gently on throttle the box feels like it changes in i think 3rd really early & so the revs drop right down. Also feels like the car pulls as it changes up through low gears. It only lasts for about a mile. Any ideas?

Depends if you are in C or S mode

C = Comfort gear box pulls away in 2nd gear and shifts up early.

S= Sport mode so quicker changes and has adaptive learning to your driving style.

That's what I have always understood.

I drive it in 's'. Standard mode.

ive done gearbox fluid & filter change, wiring plug, & fitted a seperate cooler.

i reset adaptions via snap on scanner after i done all that but the engine & gearbox were hot so perhaps i'll do it when its cold.

any other ideas??

its definatly not right

S= Standard is not right.

A MB Star session on the box might reveal something.

Ok if you have W & S

S= Standard and the 'box starts in 1st gear and changes up higher in the rev range. One would normally use this setting.

W= Winter and the 'box starts in 2nd gear and will change up sooner than in S.

As similar to my earlier post just the terminology differs.
