W212 Comand Display Problem

Does someone know or think where is the problem with my display?
There are lines on the display and they are getting more and more ..

Looks like a display or display driver fault to me.....

Edit: - not much help that, If it is the above, I would guess that unit replacement would be the only option.

Looks like an LCD screen fault to me instead of the display driver. Probably still difficult to get the correct spare part.

The unit was changed from audio 50 to comand aps ,1 week ago. the first day everything was okay but yesterday I saw this lines . Could it be from the cable connected from the monitor to the unit ?

I did not notice earlier more than the two defect lines. Still if one of the wires was not connecting well, there should be more problems and somehow in a completely symmetric manner.

Can you test with the old unit? It would rule out the display driver (memory) problems that were mentioned earlier. Not a bad idea to check the display cable too.

Could well be the connector isn't in properly. Could also well be the screen. The screen can be replaced separately and at least it never used to be horrendously expensive. Still a couple of hundred including fitting though (might be more now).

My 2010 e 350 has one line horizontally on the screen I guess it can be replaced pretty easily ?
