Baby wipes are good to keep in the car anyway. Good for laying on dry bird poo, to make it softer before wiping.

Hi all

I am interested in purchasing an E63 amg 2013-2015 so the 5.5 v8 not the 6.2

Can anyone offer any advice on the following;

1- what are the main or major problems to budget for
2- how does the servicing work and what are the costs on average
3- anyone looking to sell a white or grey saloon anytime soon

Any other relevant advice to help make my decision would be aporeciated

My main concerns are the running costs of the car I have a 2014 C63 and 2011 e92 M3 so I don't need to know about tax, fuel or insurance etc it's the other running costs that I Would like to know about.

I love my 5.5 I have to say, and in the wagon version, you hear the exhaust inside the cabin really clearly, so no need to mod the exhaust. I have had mine about 14 months and I've only had one problem, which was squeeky steering at crawl speed. They replaced two active engine mounts under warranty.

I'd recommend buying via a dealer, I got a two year warranty, and a nice welcome to amg letter plus AMG usb keyring.

On the mpg front, I have squeezed around 28mpg out of mine, but I average around 19 normally.

I was also surprised to be told my pads are only 50% worn after 14 months of ownership. My local merc dealer told me I was obviously not driving it hard enough lol. I think I do!?
