W212 e63 engine fan

Anyone find there engine fan comes on a lot even with fairly normal driving all temps seem OK engine oil tends to go upto around 103-106c

Same here. 105 is where mine starts.

Mine is the same but can only be a good thing I suppose, also the fuse for the fan has blown twice for whatever reason Mercedes don't seem to know. Having replaced it again this time so far so good.

The fan will be on when you've got air con running, to pull air through the condenser. That could be it.
