Hi, ive had my 2002 S500L for nearly a month now and noticing some strange behavior of the climate control and hope some one can help me coz its starting to do my head in!
1st) the front climate seems to operate fine until i accelerate heavily, then the right hand dash vent blows full hot air and refuses to blow cold no matter how i set the temp or vent controls, the other vents seem to continue to operate correctly and the only way to restore operation is to stop and turn off engine and ign, wait approx 1-2 mins then re start??
2nd) the rear climate has always blown full hot since i got the car, ive removed the centre rear vent and lower panel and noticed two 2pin plugs just sitting disconnected behind the panel, the wire colours are brown & grey/blue for one plug and brown & grey/black for the other? should these be connected to temp sensors by any chance? and if so where should they be, ive looked in the vicinity but cant see where they go???
any help much much apriciated, i spent 2 hours today fishing round to no avail.
Thanks
Mark
