I'm looking for a bit of a weekend fun car and the G-Wagen & W201 190e Cosworth are what I'm looking at.

Ideally with the G-Wagen it'll be mechanically sound, so I can use it as I restore it. I'm not fussed if it's petrol or diesel.

Having said that, I don't mind a project.

The criteria for the 190e Cosworth is the same to be honest. (Obviously without the diesel thing)

Mileage is also unimportant as long as there is some history.

Budget is roughly £2-2,500, maybe £3000. I would be open to anything from £1,000 though so don't be shy if you've got one of these and it needs a bit of work.

I don't need advice on how much I should spend; I'm looking forward to a project over the summer and that's that, thank you please! :D

There's one on PH for £3k that I should have bought about 6 month ago, the private seller would have took a grand and now a trader has it, it's another £2k.

I got one it owes me £2500 if ur interested pm. Its a 2.5 manual

Thanks a lot Will, much appreciated. :D

From the eBay advert he hasn't done the car justice from what I can see.

It looks a bit low, but I'm sure that's nothing that can't be sorted.

Are they genuine Evo wheels as well, does anyone know?

They're genuine Evo-II wheels (also known as 'Ceginus' and fitted to the Mille Miglia R129 SL and E500 limited models)

They came in both 7.5J and 8.25J fitments.

I have a set on my 2.5-16 as well :thumb:

If you buy that car I might be interested in those wheels :)

They are just over 500 brand new,so even if you buy another car you can get the alloys later

Not for proper 17x8.25 Evo-IIs.

7.5J ones, perhaps :)

RetroDave has a 300GD for sale he's away at the moment but I'm in touch with him if you're interested.

If you wouldn't mind please.

Do you know how much he's wanting?

A rule to live by with 16v 190Es is to avoid one if a PO has stuck a Ford 'Cosworth' badge on it.
