Over the years I have tried almost all makes of car covers and I am sorry to say I just do not recommend them. Faults - strong winds can cause cover to lift, breaking the tie-down straps; breathable and 100% waterproof do not go together; in damp weather, car can become damp under the cover trapping moisture; and in frosty or icy conditions, the cover becomes stuck to the car. In one case, a classic car did not start to rust until it was put under a cover.Yes, a car cover is good against damage by sunlight ie they can help prevent fading but that is all.
After much expense and research, I found the portable garages to be best. These have a metal frame which is anchored either onto grass or into concrete. They allow air to circulate, so moisture is not trapped. Entry is easy and the space they take up is no greater than the size of the car.
