What Have You Done To Your Merc Today?

Washed the car. Considered polishing it but CBA. Refreshed the roof mech hydraulic fluid instead - first time that's been done, ever.

It's the first thing we switched up when we picked our new car from the dealers some years ago - reminded of the suv's we rent when in usa.

I have used the car for 5 years and not know that my car can do that.w204 c180 evo

Not today, last Sunday went to Thoresby Park show in 190B Ponton.
First run after top end overhaul, a few hiccups with Carburettor, squirted Carb/brake cleaner down every orifice now appears to be OK.

Late to the party but yesterday we travelled down to Surrey and back, a journey of 340 miles in just over 7 hours, and missing 23 MPG by a hairs width. This particular car is fantastic for munching miles.

I put mine through the Morrisons car wash

It was only the Vito though. There's about 1" clearance each side

Transplanted the smashed grill bits over , from the donor grill.

Added bit of colour to my brakes. Having black wheels and tyres and black corroded calipers, I decided to paint them. I painted them the same colour as my under bonnet star with a nod towards the optional ceramic pad brakes that some models have. And before anyone says, yes my front discs need replacement!!...I've done the rears and the fronts will follow. I painted the fast rusting hubs silver at the same time.
Nice to have a splash of colour in all the blackness!

Black tyres are quite common though . Good choice on caliper paint . I like it .

Switched over to summer tyres on one car. I think this will
be the last Summer on this set, and the coming Winter will be last Winter on the set removed. Might get expensive

I then had the same car detailed when I arrived home as the Summer wheels had been in storage for the last 2.5 years, and probably weren’t clean when removed.

The car was already clean as I had it done last Friday; but cleaning the wheels would put water marks on the body so I had it done again - it’s looking tip top for the weekend.

I had another one detailed inside and out as it’s been in hibernation since the end of September. It’s not been used at all and looked fairly clean but better to be spot on.
