What private/ personal number plate have got

SBC 85

Currently on my 560SEL, soon to be on my W140 S600.....

I can't remember now whether it was because that's how many times I had SBC faults on my CL500....or because I am Steve, my wife is Barb, our surname begins with C....

L19N SC

I'm well aware the spacing is not kosher, but I've never had any issues with it before.
SC are my initials and L19N reads Lion, an old nickname, not to mention a big tattoo on my arm!

People get jealous of lots of things eg they have a newer car, they have a AMG or how they live there life's

Yes people do get jealous but I don't think that is the case here

700 JP on my R231 SL500
700 PP on retention
900 PP on my ML350 Bluetec

Paul

But you did comment on how you thought i lived my life, no matter who you thought I was or aimed it at, you read two totally separate topics and dicephered what you thought about them, then posted your thoughts. Even though you say it's none of your business!!
You were totally wrong, it was totally unnecessary and totally underhand and absolutely nothing to do with the topic, just a personal dig.

How were you expecting me to react?
Maybe You could change.

Bitter twisted and jealous I think you mean

Ok just bitter and twisted then .. What's Matt's life style has to do with number plates I don't know

It's not me keeping this going.

Get over yourselves.

PP 9 or 9 PP used to be on a bashed up old mk1 golf cabrio in teddington , not seen it for a while though

I used to see 4 KOV around a lot.

Always thought it sounded better with a Brummie accent.

I don't know if I've mentioned here or elsewhere, Paul, but an old friend of mine had 928 PP. He's lived in Antigua for years and I've lost touch, so I don't know what became of it.

In fact, I've just looked online, and unsurprisingly it's ended up on a Porsche, which is currently sorned. It was on a Vauxhall Viva HA when I first met him in 1975, but we had Sunbeam Tigers in common!

Bought 700PP in 1973 on a Mercedes. In those days you had to buy the plate with the car. Paid £175 for it then car included. Worth a bit more now me thinks.

Worth one hell of a lot more, but that was a good price, even then. In 1973, I had an older MGB which cost me £150!!

Iirc, the car had to have min 6 months mot and be taxed for the plate to be transferable - it's so much easier now!

At one time I had a Ford Mexico -reg AIB555-sold car and reg for £750. Some years later I saw the reg advertised at £15000. Later on , I had BIJ888,
NOI999 ad others. Now down to 333LZ (60+ yrs old) , OIB16, XJI25 and L5FOY

I have E3 GPC. My initals so nothing special.

One could say though this is all a load of 80LOX.

The plate I removed was LO11 WBJ, with a colleague commenting that it read 'Blow Job'.

Do you have many dyslexic colleagues? :D
