Whats all this silliness about snow?

Not painted Steve - diamond cut.

I get round a lot of the crouching problems by using a gardening kneeling pad. Still get a bit of back ache, and soggy knees by the time I've finished!

Back of my legs are killing me. Proper, it was like 1c...LOL

The water was freezing onto the car as I was washing it, was tricky...

Great work Steve, looks fantastic now. Would have been interesting to see the before pictures after cover that distance!!

Know how you guys feel about cleaning wheels too, after getting all the gear out and putting it away again, that is my least favorite part of detailing.

Silver really hides the dirt, but the regi plate was close to being illegible. Once washed I could tell it needed new wax as it didn't bead at all. A waxed car is very easy to clean, dirt just falls off.

If I do it again, I will do before and after.

I agree with both those statements. I'm sure it takes me as long to clean my wheels as it does to clean the rest of the car. Or is it just all that time crouching down takes its toll on old buggers! I don't use anything other than soapy water on the wheels because I'm not keen on the idea of acid attack from propritary cleaners. because I clean them regularly all the brake dust comes off fairly easily - with lots of agitation! I use a brush that can get between the double spokes and long enough to reach to the back of the wheel for a thorough clean.
