OK, am new to the world of MB, and need to get an understanding of what is regarded as "tastful " with regards mods to our cars. :bannana:

For instance, are the chrome gear surrounds and air vents you see on Ebay OK?

Chrome wheels?

Rebadging as an AMG?

What about pics of Mercs that have been really badly moded

"Rules" on badging .... if it looks like an AMG, you can get away with the badge.

These rules don't apply to Brabus badges though, 'eh Fuzzer

I've just fitted the chrome bits to my interior (gear surround, heater dials, air vents) and chrome covers for the exterior mirrors. Just need to fit the avantgard grille and obligatory shiny pedals now. Agree with the chrome wheels though, way too bling and gangsta like. Although saying that shadow chrome looks alright. I might redo my AMG alloys in that finish, what does everyone think of that?

oh and if you have a W202, a cupholder mod is a must

I saw some black chrome wheels on a MX5 and they looked good but I cant quite picture how a Mercedes would look with them.

I had a slating from Sp!ke for my AMG badge so off it came !!!

I've got the chrome mods in the cabin, air vents , gear surround etc , and they look cool..

A collegue of my fathers is going through a mid life crisis and has just bought himself a dark blue chevy suburban, blacked out windows, a replica NOS bottle in the back ( which is really a bass tube ) full Alpine DVD flip down monitor system and ( get this ) 22" chrome spinners !!!!.

Bear in mind he is 55 years old ( how we laughed when he pulled up in it )

What the heck Sym, keep the Diamonds on, puts some nice net curtains in the rear and a nodding dog........
