Hi Guy's,
Just wondered if anyone knew of a site or anywhere that has the load rating of AMG wheels.

I would like some nicer wheels for my ML. I nearly bought an ML before finding the one I have now, which had some AMG style 7 alloys on which looked really nice.

I have seen a set of AMG style 7 alloys recently for sale 19" allegedly off an ML, but can't find any info on load rating. although I have seen them on ML's before, I can't find any reference to them being recommended for ML's. all info I can find on AMG style 7 is that they have been fitted to CLS

I know I would need to correct offset etc, and these have been fitted to an ML before but i'm a bit nervous of getting wheels for the ML without some load rating info (its a heavy lump).

Anyone know of a website etc, where load rating info may be found.
Thanks.

Someone with access to WIS might be able to find out as (in the old days at least) AMG wheel fitting instructions often included technical data about the wheels including stuff like max permitted load. Not relevant to your needs but towards the bottom of this pdf http://www.w124performance.com/docs/mb/W124/wheel_install_17x7.5_ET42.pdf it gives a max load of 615kg (same as a tyre load rating of 91). Rdyn = dynamic tyre radius for the largest intended tyre fitment and is to do with 'alternating torsion testing'

A quick play with google returned a suggestion that A2124014502 (first part number for 19" AMG 7 twin spoke wheels i found) might have a max load of 675kg but it was a classified ad so the info is about as trustworthy as someone who tarmacs drives and likes dags

I'm guessing phoning MB would be a waste of time if these wheels were never officially available for an ML i.e. even if they did have a suitable load rating (i doubt they do)* and exist in the correct ET the answer would be no

* Michelin spat out a tyre load index of 103 (875kg) and 107 (975kg) for staggered width 19"

Thanks for a very informative reply.
