I need to mount my LPG switch in my SEC and cant decide whether to put it between the seat heater switches below the ashtray or just under the wing mirror switch. Any suggestions?

Put it where there is no wood to drill.. The trims under the ashtray are cheap to replace so best there IMO.

I would avoid mounting it with any of the standard MB switches on the dashboard or central console since it will look out of place. Most LPG installs I have seen mount the changeover switch unobtrusively on one of the under dash panels where it's not readily seen except by the driver?

definately one of my pet hates are switches in places they shouldnt be... A cool mod would be to use a genuine MB switch... I have done this for various things. Like use a interior light switch for extra fog lights etc.

I used an upside-down interior light switch to control (via a relay) the blue light when I had it on the roof of my 190E - the symbol on the switch , when inverted , was very apt for the roof mounted beacon !

Do you have a redundant loudspeaker fader control in the gear surround panel ? Most modern CD/radios have the fader built in so this switch often does nothing nowadays - just a matter of finding another switch to fit in the hole .

i would like to use an MB switch but the LPG controller an LED araay showing how much gas is in the tank as well as whether its running on gas or petrol. I think ill go for the under ashtray mount, its easy to see and get to if i need to swith in a hurry
