funny, you emboldened what to me was the least significant sentence, and ignored the most significant.

Breakdowns / fails to start over all those vehicles precisely zero.

Which is the point, what "extra" would I have had from buying a new car? Judging from many of the threads here, the only extra I would have had would be various electronic errors that caused a breakdown / limp home / fail to start.

I didn't ignore it. I haven't spent much on any car in eight years. I haven't had a fail to start in that time. I was agreeing with your whole point.
