Thinking of upgrading the air filters. Who should I be looking at?

Really?? No better option?

BMC come highly recommended for the C63. Have a word with Olly at PCS.

Without a bigger throttle body and remap not worth changing from OEM

+2 for BMC
Good enough for F1 and Rally teams.

The thing with oil off K&N and the like knackering MAF's is this just rumour or have there been documented cases?

I could understand if it if you over oiled but with normal levels it would be nigh on impossible IMO

How much are new oem filters I have two done about 300 miles

It's only paper, surrounded by a bit of plastic.... :D

I used to contract for a factory that made filters. They buy massive rolls of filter paper then cut it to size, fold it, and cram it onto the frame... the difficult part was the visual inspection against a light source to ensure there are no gaps in the glued mating surfaces between the paper and the frame.

If your not tracking the car then OEM will be more than enough.

Weistec ones on mine.

Not really sure if it makes any difference from OEM or any of the others but those Weistec chaps know there stuff when it comes to the C63 so thought i might as well give them some more money

And they are dry filters so no worries about oil on MAF's etc

Weistec High Flow Air Filter Set, M156 - Intake - 2007-2010 (W209 / M156) - CLK 63 - CLK - Products

Any uk stockists for sensible money?
