Wide Body SL600

That's a nice looking car.

Hey guys, I am trying to put a little cars and coffee thing together at the Old Orchard pub in Harefield on the 25th June from 11-2pm. My buddy runs the pub so he will set up an area for us.

Great views and a great BBQ, it would be nice to see all the cars together. I have got a few R8 guys and hopefully a few of the Modball Rally guys will come along.

If you think you can make it let me know just so I can get an idea of how much of the garden we will need.

That's funny as we have regular Maserati meets at The Orchard followed by a convoy down to the Ace Cafe for Italian nights. Maybe they do a German night at the Ace as well?

I should check the ace cafe dates.

Anybody interested in the 25th June for the pub lunch meet.

Ok, I will do a reminder closer to the time so I can get numbers together for the BBQ.

I'd be up for The Orchard meet, thanks for organising. You're bringing the SL? You must have done a lot since we last saw it at Vmax last year.

F1, Kudos for perseverance, looks very nice. We may have conversed on Cutters seem to remember F1BHP from somewhere.

I am going to try to get the SL, 488 and R8 there. If I can get sufficient drivers organized. My buddy Dan is the landlord so should be a good day.

Oxonmb I have been on cutters a bit. I have a E46 M3 supercharged so quite likely.

The SL is almost done, the audio is finished so now have to deal with the interior. Any other suggestions as d-class can't do it until after the summer.

I used D:Class in the past and they were spot on but last year they couldn't even get back to me until after two weeks so I ended up buying new interior bits from the main dealer for my E55.

I've heard Plush Auto are good too but no idea on their workload.

Ok, I have sent plush an email. I want to use the car over the summer so if they can't do it in the next few weeks I will wait.

Alpine car play head unit.

Much better touch screen and cheaper to buy but limited only to use through your phone. I found I was only using my phone for sat nav so that along with a much improved audio experience made this the best choice.

Hi All,

Sorry to bump on an old thread but have been looking at this body kit for a while and have taken the plunge and purchased one - well actually there will be 2 (one with my friend).

Are there any more pictures from F1BHP out there?

I'll be starting a thread soon

Love this build. I would have loved to see more on it!

How is the car fairing now? I have a friend down in Kent that has done the same sort of thing, started with a SL55 but has now dropped the V12 in

The car is still around but I have not used it much, the paint work done wasn't the best so needs looking at and the ABC with the wider setup doesn't cope very well. I can fix the paint issue however I am still struggling to get a viable alternative to replace the ABC.

How are getting on with the new FF, I saw your posts on Ferrari Chat and I'm really drawn to the FF but at 2-3 years old so wondered how you're getting to grips with your new one, which looks lovely by the way?

Barely driven it yet, I fly back to the U.K. tonight so will have a few days with it and might drive it down to Courchevel.

I have driven one before for around 6h and it was very similar to my 458 which is a huge accolade as that is still the best V8 Ferrari has made as the 488 is quick but no good. It really does drive like a super car but with 4 seats and a boot, quite the trick to pull off. The sound is amazing and the V12 has proved to be bulletproof and probably one of the best engines ever made. I really wanted a Ferrari V12 and this seemed the best way to get it. My kids are older now so no more car seats and a luxury 4 seater was the way to go.

My FF was almost brand new 2017 (the last U.K. car and maybe the last worldwide) and I am the first keeper and I got £75k off MSRP. I think the market will bottom out around £120k for higher mileage cars so the downside on the low mileage cars a few years old around £150k is quite limited and I would say a good long term purchase. When you look at a Porsche Turbo S price now I think the used FF is superior in every way with a smaller depreciation over 3-5 years and like I said before you get to drive a V12 Ferrari.
