I come to England to go on holiday now, kinda funny. I am back to the sunshine however also back to work.

I picked up the SL today so I will get some photos in between the rain tomorrow. I had to use the 305/25r20 PSS tyres in the front and I had some 325/25r20 cup2 tyres for the rear. I don't like to use different compounds so I will order some matching PSS for the rear. I can't even find the cup2 tyres in the 25 series any more, the ones I have are from 2012.

Hoping to get a drive today, I went out yesterday but I heard a slight grinding noise at slow speed so I was worried about the new wheel setup. I didn't have time to get it sorted yesterday. I went to top gear live yesterday, it was a good show.

Looks fantastic! The red bits are not to my taste, but that's just personal taste. It looks extremely well executed.

Wasn't this car grey a few months back or am I dreaming that?

It still is mainly dark grey with black accents on the splitter,skirts,grille,mirrors and spoiler.

I think it looks awesome with the red highlights, no point being conservative with the colour when the body is so aggressive!

Glad everything is going well. I have to say this thread puts me right off heavily modifying a car in a way that Grand Designs puts me off building my own dream house.

It is definitely a process. I have done a couple of others and it takes a lot of patience as well as other cars to drive while you wait.

It is very similar to running a race car. It takes many many hours of R&D to get it to the finish line and costs a boat load of money. Now don't get me started on the boat I built a couple of years ago, that makes car mods a joke.

Hey guys, just an update of what is going on and what the future plans are. The SL is currently heading over to command online to get the audio sorted then it wil go to the upholsterers to get the custom interior done.

My Ferrari 488 arrived in London this week but I am not in town until the end of May so the painful wait starts now. The R8 twin turbo kit does not seem to be working out so I am jumping over to a supercharger as well as some aero and weight saving mods.

I have started a YouTube channel called PeakPower ( http://youtu.be/wXRyeTLLvXw ) and will be doing a lot of cool videos in the upcoming months so please go over and subscribe. I only have a Bahamas jet ski video at the moment filmed using a drone but more will be coming soon. If you search for PeakPower in the channels section and look for my SL engine bay icon you will find me.

I have Goodwood, SPA, Nurburgring, Silverstone GP and an epic MODBALL RALLY trip through Europe which will be covered as well as some stuff in the Bahamas featuring a supercharged E46, t-Rex, 1965 Lotus 7, classic Mini and a few jet ski, jet boat and fishing vids.

Anybody got any good ideas for videos? I will try and update on the SL once the audio gets done.

I hope to catch up with a few of you in the summer.
