wiring in baby bottle fuel filter heater W124

want to install this into my W124 E300d. will eventually fit a switch going into the cabin but for now will wire it to 1st position ignition.

My first question is where can i find a 1st position ignition 12V+ feed in the engine bay (closer to fuel filter the better)?

Second question is what amp fuse should i put in the inline fuse holder i am going to put on the positive line?

i wired mine direct to the fusebox in the engine bay. I think it was fuse #1 - not 100% sure on that though - best to check your fusecard to see what fuse operates aux things like radio etc and use that. I didnt bother with an additional fuse.

ok thanks for the advice.

how did the manifold off job go this weekend? i am going to give it a crack this weekend i reckon but just going to do the fuel lines and glowplugs and leave the delivary valves for now.

Car is now running on 50% veg and no problems or leaks (yet!)
